+1, this is cool! Although just as a little technical tip, Photoshop is the wrong software for creating a logo. Logos should be created in Illustrator. This doesn't really meet the definition of a logo. Logos need to be vector, not raster, and they should be simple and very adaptable to different mediums (for example, it would be impossible to screen print this, or print it using a vinyl cutter). You pointed out that you didn't like the shadow; the problem with it is perspective. Take an actual flashlight, some object, and a blank surface, and play around with how real shadows look, and you might get a better idea of how to make this look right. Sorry, I just finished a Digital Media degree, so I enjoy critiquing stuff like this... I realize you just made this for fun, and I think it's cool!
