FBM, Fucking big mine

The scale of this place is unbelievable, when it was in operation lorries would drive from one end to the other.

There's 25+ miles of tunnels split over at least 3 levels with a few drops that are well over 100 foot.

Nice shots! It's challenging to get a photograph to show the real scale of some of these mines. Many of the mines I visit are small producers and quite old before the era of "big equipment" underground. A couple of weekends ago I got to visit a more modern mine and the scale of it is just amazing.
