Southern and central Alberta.

We flew into Calgary and rented a car, first stop Okotoks to visit the worlds largest known glacial erratic.

Who can resist exploring one of the many abandoned homesteads along the highway in Alberta. The only thing inside was a rusting old stove range.

Head smashed in buffalo jump, the natives did not mince words.

On the way back we found ourselves wandering around a wind farm. I don't think my photo conveys the true scale of these giant propellers. As you stand under them they make a whoomp sound as they go around and you can feel a sort of pressure drop.

Next stop Lethbridge and the largest railway structure in Canada, incidentally a hotspot for suicides.

I walked about halfway of its 1.6 km. If I train started crossing I would have had to lay down next to the steel lip.

Next up the high level bridge in Edmonton, under a blue moon.

Looking south.

A bit of company observing me on the bridge, after taking the photo I prompty packed up and made my exit.

Whats a visit to Edmonton without a bit of Charles Camsell roof action.

Edmonton municipal cemetery remains one of my personal favorites.

Light paint of the Young crypt.

Edmontons war dead, lest we forget.

A great roof to observe other roofs and or cranes.

The initial target, taken from crane across the street.

Crane view looking north from jasper ave.

The end.

god created the au/mc to test the faithful.
