| | Seen it before? < on 7/9/2013 1:06 AM >
| | | OK so being the eager rookie that I am, I have posted pics on UER (Ontario) and want to post more. But I feel like some of the sites that I've gone to for the first time have been explored and posted many times. So what's the etiquette around posting stuff that's new to someone but may be old hat to others? As far as photo quality goes, I think mine hold up, and certainly the state of decay evolves (or devolves) which can be interesting to see. Thoughts? Perfect example - here's a certain dry cleaners in Toronto's West End: http://www.flickr....72157634548764631/ [last edit 7/9/2013 1:07 AM by craxton - edited 1 times]

| | | ALL the places I have been to have already been found....and posted.
every person has a different viewpoint. I posted one place and on person remarked about how nice it was to see the blue bird on the wall.....a month later it was sprayed over with a new tag. don't ever NOT post stuff because you think its redundant. I could shoot a place 2 days in a row and it won't look the same. just contribute and have fun. that's what it's all about

| | | Make the pics your own. Sure seeing the same snapshot of the same spot in the same location gets old. But what's your take on it, angle, gimmick, processing, etc. I enjoy the decay aspect of it. Some go looking for ruination and then complain when there is too much.

| | | You can post something that has been posted a thousand times or something brand new. All we ask is that you dont steal others pictures or drop the name or address of the place that you are exploring. One of the best parts of this community is the ability for different people to capture the same place in countless ways. Just because it is a heavily trafficked area doesnt mean your take wont have something to offer. Cant wait to see your sets & welcome to UER! Good place for new users to start, please read: http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=27619
The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark. |

| | | "Me too" for what everyone else said. That place is interesting too because of how ridiculously trashed it is. Especially all the dirt, wood, debris, and other crap that's been dumped in there. Bizarre, actually. Kind of fun to climb over all that stuff. I'm just surprised they've taken so long to finish the demo. I bet it's extra nasty now after the storm....

| | | The only real rules are, don't post location details or entry details. If you follow those rules, you'll be good, so past whatever you want!
