Pretty hard to miss from the highway, quick in and out.. the top floors were locked off, but we managed to get a peak by scaling up some conduit next to the elevator. It's being remodeled.. surprisingly.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this place...forever. Hahaha. It looks familiar, but I don't get to Houston very much. So, I can't be of much other help.

Oh god, this place. lol
If I am not mistaken it was just some sort of office building. Like lawyers or whatever. I see it everytime I walk over to Minute Maid to watch the Astros get their asses handed to them.

Oh well darn, that's lame. Ah well.. better luck next time. Still would've been interesting had we actually scaled up onto the higher floors hah.. the way down was the only issue keeping us from doing so

It wasn't an office building. It was used for some sort of manufacturing. I've been in there before and it had belt driven conveyor belts connecting between several of the floors leading me to believe they used it to transport parts or equipment up and down. The layout of the floors also included pieces of unknown equipment that has probably since been removed. It was also apparent from the bolt patterns on the floors that large equipment used to be mounted there at one time.

Yeah, I realized that later. But I recall there being some sort of offices in it as well. Like, not seeing them in it. But knowing someone who worked in it.

The tower on the top, at very least, says it was originally manufacturing though, yeah.

When I lived in Houston, someone once told me that place used to be an old Clothing manufacture. I am not sure what company, but they said their uncle used to work there when he was younger.
I know it is hearsay, but maybe it might help?

Fun fact: The guy who painted the "NEXT" graffiti just died recently.

Well...that wasn't very fun.

Ya that's not a fun fact at all. His passing was a big loss to the Graffiti scene. Dude rocked walls across the world.
