Thanks! The whole Kalakala story is kind of sad though. The boat has changed ownership again. There are so many problems with it - can't restore it on the waterway, can't move it because it's too deteriorated, can't scrap it because it's too deteriorated... the new owner wants to restore it too though, but he will be waiting for someone rich enough in the mean time.

I was actually on that boat while taking the picture of the other person farther ahead of me on the right-ish. See him? His trip to that end of the boat was definitely sketchville, much worse than anything I'd recommend trying after hearing about how he almost fell through more than once.

This is the only picture I took of the outside of the Kalakala, but I'm sure you can find others online. It also happened to be my first panorama shot ever, so please excuse the strange dip in the top of the boat that wasn't actually there in real life.
