I live just a few miles from this location in Arlington, TX. It's a beautiful public works facility that apparently used to be set up as a water treatment plant but now lies unused and overgrown. The most common visitors are various birders who come to enjoy the plentiful wildlife and birding inhabitants. There are a number of abandoned man-made objects strewn throughout the area. Notably there are two large structures that lie disassembled and unused that stand out. I come here fairly often with my girlfriend and dog to view birds and enjoy an area removed from the bustle of technology. I snapped a few photos today of one of the large structures. They came out great on my phone but after the re-size, not so much. Either way I wanted to post these. I think this area is great and I highly recommend it for anyone in the area!1.
