I don't think you can put a number on it. Some people pick it up quickly, and some remain hopeless newbs five years on (you all know what zero I'm talking about).

Also, if you spend years in abandoned buildings, you're still a rookie when it comes to, say, drains. I still post questions in the Rookie Forum about topics I'm less experienced with, including draining, craning, and train tunnels.

A star next to your name means nothing. Many people have been exploring before they joined UER. Some people havent. Myself along with a few people i explore with have been exploring for many years before joining this site.

Like Steed says, some people have been on here for many years, but are still complete idiots.

Thanks for the info. I figured it was just that first year but had suspicions. Some people join this site and come back a year later. I feel when you get that sixth sense you move onto the next level.

I was UE'ing buldings, active sites and mines before I even knew it was called "UE". I started when I was probably 7 or 8.

That amazing moment when you first visit this site, and realize that the countless hot as hell summer afternoons you spent wandering around is actually considered a real activity, with a whole community that does exactly what you've been doing.

Anyone who is new to this site or exploring.

There are people who are new here but have been exploring a long time (like me)

and then there are people who have been on here forever and still haven't done much exploring.

I am Therrin, Soldat AND Paulpa (according to Dallas)
