If you can light it there's enough Oxygen. Sometimes in recently opened tunnels, you can't light him due to Oxygen taken from the air to Oxydize shit. And I have never ran into Methane above the LEL in sewers. If it was, the cigar would burn it down to acceptable limits soon enough. I drink gasoline for breakfeast and beer for dinner! Any problem can be licked with a case of beer and a few sticks of dynamite. And rain is serious shit, do not ever go in a cave or a drain if it is raining, or even hint that it might rain. Always bring extra batteries and an extra flashlight. You will be dirty as hell when you come out, have some water in the car to clean up with as well as a change of clothes.
