It's going up. New stadium.

Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy. -George Carlin (1937 - 2008)

God, I hate the 49ers...stupidest football team EVER. Followed closely by the Texans. How fucking pretentious can you get? Name the team for ONE city after the ENTIRE STATE? Stupid. 49ers is just stupid. Its like calling them the 69ers or something.

I was hoping it was a new Giants stadium or something cool like that.

Perhaps the people who buy the sky-boxes were complaining about all the poor people they were subjected to in Hunters Point while visiting Candlestick park (snert). At least its not the Raiders.

Technically, 49ers are gold miners and they will be here in a year, that counts right?

Yup, its a fascinating piece of Cali's history and pretty much built S.F. and many of the towns in the state. At one time much of 1800's S.F. was abandoned for the rush to the goldmines. You know someone was doing some 1800's urbex.

I made a return trip back out here the other day. Things are looking good and are still on track to finish in time for the 2014 season to start.
