I haven't been able to get out much and explore lately due to many difficulties going on in my life in the last few months. However, it does not mean I haven't been thinking about urbex. I'm gonna add a bit of a twist to this thread and change up the medium - who said urbex art had to be photography?

Anyways, just some advice and opinions for these would be great. I haven't posted for a while, so it's something. Also, each of the paintings are for sale, if anyone is interested simply private message me.

002. "Hudson Part I"

004. "Self Portrait 005"

Usually if that happens, the first thing I do is watch a few episodes of the anime I'm currently watching at that time.I do find that watching them when I can't sleep is less enjoyable.

I know nothing about art in the classical sense (paintings, etc), but I'll try to give you a dump of my thought processes while looking at your pieces.

1. Hm.. interesting, looks like an old factory with the giant windows. What is that lava looking stuff? Is that a smelter smelting some metal? Wait, I thought this was supposed to be abandoned? What's hanging up at the top? That looks like cured meats hanging in a deli... interesting... What are those white dotted boxes at the bottom? Looks like dice... hm... nope, no idea what those are.

Overall an interested painting, though it leaves several questions answered.

2. Cool, a Victorian era looking building! Well done. Is that a queue of people in the bottom middle part? No wait, probably not... that's probably part of the building.

3. Stairs - nice! I love the depth here, very cool. Is that footprints? Looks like it - awesome!

I enjoyed this one a lot!

4. Very cool! I feel like it should say "BORN MILITIA" in big bold, semi-transparent letters across the left 2/3 of the turquoise bar you have running across the top.

Very nice! The first one definitely clears a few things up! See, I'm more of a photo than a painting guy, but good job regardless - it's definitely better than anything I can paint! Hope I didn't offend with my comments

Sorry... but you are totally coming off as a bot. With the Stock Photo Profile Pic, the explicit address, the 2 post count, the unrelated post. If you are legit, I'd probably change a couple of those things. Don't want to offend anyone at all.

Sorry for the unrelated post... (I know I am being a slight hypocrite)
