i agree AAS.
i wasn't trying to win anything nor did i intend for this to become so pseudo-personal. i do have an opinion on endangering locations & until people acknowledge that their actions can affect others i truly feel they are more of a liability than a benefit to the UE community & maybe even UER. that is just my opinion, i am just one person with it.
i clearly offended him when i stated that i thought FM should be on recommendation basis & not something one requests(with special exceptions of course!) as made example by this thread. again that's just my opinion & i stated it after it was mentioned that the OP had just recently requested FM. the OP has been receptive to the criticisms of this action but salami chose to be sarcastic & offended, which is fine. i think his reception of the that portion of the community's replies further displays his sense of responsibility. i don't put much merit into his intellect or criticisms of my character nor do care to change his opinions of me. were he were half as smart as he thinks, he wouldn't need to rely on petty insults & sarcasm to maintain his position on an inarguably bad idea all while not once really honestly addressing the subject. so.. this not even a discussion at all but instead an exercise in futility & you are right! i should in fact be done with it. hehe.

Hey guy, how are drain flares? "Spark shower" fireworks look rad, as do roman candles. Anything with more bang risks your eardrums.

How much he misses out on is subjective. The LDB? The "Other" forum? Acceptance? He can very easily ask one of his friends if he wants to see something restricted to full members. I guess all he lost was the time it took to fill out his application.
Anyway, I say that I win, because I got to deny someone's request (always fun), no cats were harmed in the making of this thread, and now anapplesnail is playing diplomat here instead of me.

For the record, I love animals and am a firm supporter of Sea Shepherd. You invited the tangent when you started preaching morals when you should have been making relentless attacks on the photo the thread began with. It's definitely not winning awards for composition, but I think we've all learned a thing or two about social graces. It's a pretty fun story, even just as a cautionary tale.
