The location was much better than I had expected. But what made the adventure great was the awesome crew. Astro, Captain_Slow, highxfive, Texas Mike and I assembled and began out excursion around 11PM.
The Captain knew a great subterrain route leading to the actual POE. Texas Mike had scouted the location and knew that the water level was not too high, in spite of the showers we had had earlier that day. Speaking of showers, a couple of the explorers enjoyed a frolic in the lovely waterfall at the terminus of our excursion.
All along the journey, we found opportunities to stop briefly and document our trip photographically. I'm looking forward to seeing some of them posted.
Thanks to all who took part in this adventure!
