It depends on how you interpret it, but I wear different clothes for different situations. I could post all the possible combos and would take up all the sig bar. I just picked the one I thought sounded the coolest.

Doesn't take shit.

And everyone knows burglars only go out at night, right?

Yes, and your point is?

Burglars: Come out at night, always wear black.

How can you carry extra clothing at night if you don't go out at night? All that stuff you could trip over, remember, especially in those hulking commando boots.

how does what they wore in WWII have anything to do with an appropriate, dynamic color combination for "blending in" based on what and where the explore is?

Your signature line (that thing that makes you sound SO badass) says you always wear black clothing. What's the point of that if it's not true? You think girls are gonna picture you in all that and fap to it or something?

You're portraying one thing as this tactical model of yourself, then you create posts like this one.
Try to keep your ducks in a row without constantly modifying your story to fit each new information while still portraying something else entirely.

FYI this post originally wasn't about what I wear.

You're right, it wasn't.

See how even though I'm typing two sentences, I'm putting them in the SAME response?

you should try it.

This is a thread about you being scared, but when a variety of information was given, you were easily diverted by MrSivalls talking about nighttime exploring.

But as you said yourself, you don't explore at nighttime. Clowns might eat you.

^^ Ok!!

So, Lone-C, tell us about what you think made you feel so scared, and how it affected your experience?

It felt like someone or something was staring me down, as said by other members it was a flight or fight response. That should go away with time.

Lone-C, do you go out on your own or are you with a group of friends?

Sometimes, safety comes in numbers. But its always up to you to stay safe, if you feel a bad vibe there is nothing wrong with taking a step back and surveying the situation. There is never any rush.

Usually when I get that GTFO feeling, I do it....when it persists and I can't enjoy an exploration because of it. I always get the jitters when I first enter a location: my hands shake, hair stands on end, jump at every single sound. But after a few minutes I relax. I think it's normal to feel that adrenaline rush, especially your first time. It'll get easier. Bring friends, that helps. I feel much more confident with a buddy.

im relatively new to exploring and i always go with a buddy, then when one of you has a freak out moment then the other can reassure and vice versa. plus safety in numbers.
i still get crazy nervous when walking up to a place to explore especially when i am not even sure if its abandoned totally. i push thru the nervousness and at the end of the day the payout is always worth it!
plus after an adrenaline filled exploring day ive never slept better in my life

You get used to it - I've been exploring Detroit alone for years now - if I want backup or won't be going anywhere with any climbing involved I bring the dog

Not reading most of these responses, the dick-back-and-forth thing gets old. OP, if you feel someone's being a fuck to you, just brush it off [not that I read enough to determine]. Like I said, no one here received much of any respect until they'd been for a long long while. Many are still waiting.

That said, yes to your question. At first I was ALWAYS afraid I was going to get busted...I'd park a half mile away and trudge through the woods to get there. I'd pause and stare at the POE for ten minutes when no one was around...get inside and nearly hyperventilate. I'd explore on a hair trigger and a drip of water would make me piss.

Now I just walk up to doors and open them in active parking lots. It gets better.

At first I used to think there were bad vibes everywhere. I couldn't go in basements alone or walk utility tunnels without someone very close to me.

Now I take self-portaits in lobotomy chairs or other eerie scenarios. Either the ghosts don't care or don't exist, lol. It gets better.

Lol, thanks.

Just start small and work up...not to sound like a fortune cookie, but I think everything anyone ever does should follow this method.

Id say you need to just relax and not over think your situation once inside. Use cation not to be seen upon entry or exit. Once in, just be aware of what can bee seen from outside, windows, doors, etc.. Then just watch where you shine lights, or cameras flash etc....

Other than that, quit over thinking, relax and enjoy your time. I am never at peace as much as when I am in the middle of an exploration. Its when I get my self reflection time in and get no distractions. The world basically is frozen while I am in there. Best way to do this. DO a quick sweep of the building first, if its all clear, then have at it!

I would say go to your next couple of places with some of your friends, don't bother with UER ppl, take some friends from school.. that way you will be perfectly comfortable to do whatever you wish.
