But that said, I just think some people have a lesser threshold for bullshit than others. Honestly, what's really at issue here in my estimation is simply the lack of respect shown to Decrepitude.
You can't really tell someone that you're friends, ask them for help based on mutual trust, and then make unflattering and disparaging remarks publicly against them because they refused to grant you a favor. What part of any of that wouldn't make someone feel like they're someone else's tool? Or what about telling them that they're a trusted friend and then getting all bent out of shape when another "trusted friend" shares some info with them. If they're in your supposed "circle of trust", there shouldn't have been an issue. Maybe we need to clarify our definition of "friend". Maybe "doctor" is "friend", and "friend" is "useful sucker"?
Bonnie, I can appreciate the effort to explain things, but what you said is essentially coming across to me as, "Hey Decrepitude, you should have just sat there and taken our crap. We didn't want to look like assholes so we didn't put your name in there, but we still wanted to humiliate you somehow! Everyone in our little circle will have a good laugh at your expense because WE all know that we're talking about you. So just sit there and take our jokingly disrespectful comments like a good tool. You're the only one to blame for anyone else knowing it was you."
Name or no name, it came across as disrespectful. Those people that consider Decrepitude a "true friend" stood up for him, and if defending your true friends is "stirring the pot" so be it. I'm sure you would do the same for your true friends. I could test that notion right here, but I don't want to listen to another insecure, self-righteous rant from [another unnamed explorer] who thinks I'm talking about them. (I'm sure my TRUE friends will know what I meant by that, and the spirit in which it was intended.)
I will grant you the benefit of the doubt that it may not have been meant to be a jab at Decrepitude, but if that's truly the case, and you actually do consider him a friend, what's so difficult about saying, "Hey, sorry if you were offended" instead of blaming him for taking offense?

Don't act like you've explored with us and had the time to talk about other explorers. And I'm not "spinning" things. Way to assume things. We've (Fusspot, D, and myself) had explored the stockade months before the meetup. We didn't have any interest in exploring it that day and understand if others wanted to go on their own and explore it. We were there to show people who haven't been to "That Place" around. Nothing more.
What I have issue with is all the shit talking. Which I though I clearly stated that this post could have done without. I take nothing personally, but see you have chose to make it personal.
The funny thing is that I though I said what I had to say, but see that I need to clarify things.
I hope this clears it up and we can all move on. I'm not upset and expected as much. I just wanted people to show their true colors in public. Which they have.
The whole rail88gate was the best thing you guys have done and help bring to light. What makes Clyde a bully is he feels the need to continue make fun of rescueme, Arecibo, and other members.

We never bullied arecibo. We DID take him to a certain location with a group of close friends. He did NOT go inside this location but when we all agreed to keep it "on the under" we trusted he would too. WRONG!
He told decrepitude who in turn brought a group of (kids? Basic members? Not sure.
That location had been given to us by a friend that's not even on uer.
Yup we were pissed.
As for rescueme..his meet and greet was a compilation of advice/locations given to him by us and mad and alice. I won't go on but every1 involved knows what I'm talking about with that 1. Its why we didn't go.
We too had been to the ord jail before. We wanted to show a few people who made the trip with more than barracks in mind is all.

I can only think of one person that we have "denied" an invite from & just because that was you doesn't mean we are elitists, it just means we don't trust you or we don't like you. so what if you got the same result from others or found the one guy you buddied up with was someone that we warned you more than once about only to see him proved a thief & scoundrel, get over it. please don't mistake my correcting you, trying to help you out with your attitude & meets for bullying. you act like we are the only people that treat you with the same respect you offer others, yet you piss people off all over the boards, in hockey threads, in chat & even in PMs. stop whining. you should reconsider saying stupid things that will clearly lead to getting your feelings more hurt if you can't cope.
