| | | From what I found it's basicly as system of microphones activated at a certain noise level.

| | | You'd probably just want to be very quiet. I think it wouldn't be too hard as the system would need to ignore a certain level of background sound (eg. cars, planes, thunder) as long as you can stay within that background sound limit, you should be fine.

| | | If you can find some specs on it on the 'net, like about their sensitivity you should be able to check with a decibal meter to see whether or not you can keep quiet enough to get by. Kinda like in mission impossible : D
Contrary to popular belief, death isn't just for dead people. I know I was surprised too! It can happen to anybody! Horses, fiddler crabs, even a potato can die! - Tick |

| | | Sonic activated systems like this sometimes re-calibrate automatically for background noise. I'm not sure about this system, but a white noise generator hooked to a speaker might work.. Set it up, run it quiet and then turn it up a little over the space of a half hour or so. If there is a background discriminator in there, it likely uses white noise as a comparator [as it's similar to passing traffic, rain etc etc] and so you should be able to get it up fairly loud - loud enough to cover footsteps for instance. I'm unsure if this is the case with the system you are refering to but it might be worth some investigation. Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
