So, me and Astro found This little gem, but only spent a little while there are only got in one building.

Well, we're back, and we got it all this time. Teamed up with Lunchboxface, a new member, and some of his friends, and we spent hours crawling all over this place. It's pretty epic. The place is HUGE. Like, 7 acres of industrial goodness huge. it's 6 buildings on 7 acres. Yeah, huge. The main building itself is about 2 enclosed acres, and around 75-80 feet all, and you can climb the infrastructure of the building all the way to the top, or you can climb the cranes inside, which go up about 60 feet. There are offices filled with old relics of the buildings, customer service areas, the works.

Anyways I'll let the pictures do the talking.

1. Overview. Building #1 is so massive, buildings #5 and #6 are built entirely underneath it.

2. Outside view showing a small corner of Buildings #1 and #2, with #5 visible in the far background.

3. Outside view of Building #1, the building is so massive there is absolutely no way to get it all in frame without a fisheye or wide angle. I was standing on the road on the southern edge of the map when I took this.

4. The interior of building #1. The green skylights gave everything a very eery green-blue hue.

5. Turned a direct 180 from where I took the previous picture (have I mentioned this place is huge?):

6. Just another shot from building #1

7. The windows in Building #1

8. One of several offices in Building #1

9. Detritus of a time past

10. Ok, who called in?

11. Bathrooms and ???? In Building #1, still

12. To climb or not to climb?

13. CLIMB!

14. "Up there"... There is a family of VERY large owls living in the rafters here, I tried to get a shot but those fuckers are fast!

15. It's a long way down... Guessing 50 feet?

16. Durrr, this cage will save me!

17. We thank you for your hospitality!

18. I wasn't the only one that couldn't resist a nice climb! This one is shorter than the cranes.

19. Mini crane

20. Production lines

21. Building # 6, #2 and #3 in background

22. Inside #6

23. More of #6

24. Building #6, dwarfed by #1

25. Headed into Building # 3 and 4

26. Inside Building #3

27. I had a stiffy for these windows. Dunno why.

28. I give you: Reflections on a Lonely Chair

29. Office Space... Get it? The movie? Eh...

30. Chin place

31. You're a winner!

32.Now we're in Building #4.

33.Danger, Will Robinson!

34. Building #5, see This thread

35. Inside Building #2. Didn't feel like trying to be artistic anymore, blow me.

36. Scrappers beat us here

37. You didn't think I'd forget the toilet shot, did you?

38. Sadly, I spent so long shooting in here that I ran out my battery and didn't get the rest of 2, 3, or 4 on film.

And I'm out. Lunchboxface and friends should chime in soon with more.

Just got back from there today, and I'm sorting through photos now. Many of the same shots posted in this thread. Sigh, day late, dollar short.

Captain Slow already covered most of the good shots I got, but here's a few addendums, shot on my only camera - the one on my Android phone. Almost no adjustable parameters on this thing, but I think I've figured out how to get some halfway-decent shots.

1. View of Building #1 from near our point of entry

2. One of the walls of Bldg #1, riddled with holes

3. The holes in the wall above created interesting patterns of light on the ground below

4. I must confess we neglected to wear our eye protection

5. I liked this.

6. Captain Slow peeks back at the slower rookies.

7. Texas Texas! A child cowboy staring at a penguin, underwater. Texas Texas!

Very nice set! This place is quickly becoming my favorite. It's only been a few days and I'm already daydreaming of climbing those cranes again.

For sure! Next time I'm going to try and bring some actual climbing gear, I'd love to tackle the rafters, too.
