And you're on the top of the train, setting up a tripod?

Sheeeeit.

Hanging on for dear life, I was near the back so that whole whip crack effect was happening. Not to mention the cheese/flesh graters on the top, learned a lesson that night, shorts are not the best attire, or at least not without knee pads.

Azazel you guys need to do a full thread and write up, would really like to check out the full story.

Ugh, I'm still trying to figure out how to re-size pictures without actually physically re-sizing them, if that makes any sense....

Sweet trip Azazel, would have been fun to check it out with you lot.

There are few things that I have ever done more intense then hopping trains. It is basically a 5000 ton meat slicer with no friendly parts and a bad disposition.

I know that exact spot. Be careful out there! Very risky on top of those things. I prefer the clamp on the side. The long exposure rail shots are great, fun to take as well.

The old Cansu bomber near Tofino, quite a fun little hike, had a picnic lunch of MRE's at the plane.
Here's a pretty great write up I found about the crash;
