A few shots of an abandoned minimum security female prison that used farm labor...

1. One of the barns

Hah, I was in here a few months back. We were pretty sure it was an active squat so we didn't venture inside the house and skedaddled pretty fast.

Familiar. I would have expected this place burned down or collapsed from rot by now, but apparently not!

It still stands! I believe there is actually still a group of people that play paintball there every weekend.

That building was not where they ate meals, it was a place for kids to play and hang out....

because the prison was for women...with babies and kids

Huh, that's interesting. I'd never realized that the children were kept with the moms in that prison until now! I just assumed it was a meal room based on the long picnic style table tipped over in the room.

Ah, some of you like the abandoned cars, yes?

I was so distracted by the buildings, I didn't even notice these until today.

Creepin' around doing some low-light practice, came across a shining example of what passes for "Historical Restoration" in this city:

Should have got a shot of the back of the building, which was simply sliced right off so they can splice a condo onto it as per usual.
