This is where they filmed the last few seasons of Prison Break. How does one get there from Long Beach?

I really like the old art-deco buildings in the foreground.

Favorite old farmhouse.

Thanks, this was our first time attempting roof top/ night skyline photography. Figured we would branch out and try something new. Its definitely a different art to capture.

My first ever attempt at an HDR photo. Let me know what you guys think.

Nice, not over done like a lot of people (myself included) seem to do. My favorite ones are the ones where you look at it and have to think whether it is HDR or not.

Thanks, I agree. The best HDR shots seem to be the ones that blend subtlety and the other basic components of a good standard photo to compliment it and not distract from it.

I can vouch for this. I went there over the weekend and the only entrance I could find wasn't the most accommodating. Tore my leg up a little in the process of entering too. Haha.

I need to go back soon. Only thing I didn't do when I was there was climb a crane. I ran out of night, and there were to many patrols there during the day for me to feel comfortable.

I think it looks pretty good! Subtle and not over bearing amount of processing, and good color balance too.

The harbor patrols don't care. They've seen us doing repelling practice from the cranes mid day on several accounts.

Haha, I remember you saying that before. I just didn't want to tempt fate.

Now I'm looking into checking out the cannery across the water. Despite the newer fence, and freshly boarded up windows, there's still one extremely obvious POE.....

Thanks. I'm trying to learn the HDR craft without going too nuts and making the other photographers on the site cringe. That waterfront site you chaps have been posting looks VERY cool. If what Rob said is true, it sounds wide open for the most part. Tear it up!

Today's pic.

Skeletal footprints.

When we were down there the other night we were tempted, even drove over there so Lil Bugsy could see it, but were just too exhausted at that point.
