The Arlington Hotel in Morden, Manitoba partially collapsed last night. I was just in Morden today and I heard some of the guys talking about it. Looks like a wall on the third floor collapsed.

Here's a picture I took in April of 2010 of the same spot that collapsed. Surprisingly it didn't even look unstable.

My ex girlfriend's step dad used to play in a band there. He says on some nights when it rained, you'd have a pool of water in front of the stage.

Another chunk of the old school was knocked down this week. Only one section left (oddly, they knocked down the mostly intact section and left the gutted part.. I don't know why they're doing it like that!)

Explored an epic drain in Kentucky. Pictures forthcoming.

R426 - sorry I didn't respond to your text, messaging here costs me $1.25/outgoing message and it's adding up *fast*.

If anybody's interested, a friend of mine is hosting a game that basically revolves around UE in Winnipeg. It's on October 15 during the day. More details here:

I am so very excited about this. Speaking from experience, everyone should go. If it's anything like past events you'll have an amazing time.

Playing with some steel wool down by Sturgeon Creek. This part of the creek was *way* cooler when I was a kid, it looks like in the last 20 years they dredged out the rocks and made it boring.

For those who might not be aware yet, the Jets have made an astonishing return to Winnipeg with a fantastic loss of 5-1 to Montreal. Good job boys....
