I can't climb fences like I used to. Last time I did, I cut my hand as the fence was bending under my weight.

On the weekend I just crushed one of those crappy wire fences. Was much easier to get over that way.

Turned 44 on 3/21, ran 4 miles today in maybe 30 minutes, go to the gym at least 4 times a week and have jungle sex regularly. Eat right, exercise, drink in moderation.

I have to deny myself a lot of fun to be able to remain a self-righteous asshole, so you guys get that in the trade-off. But, I will admit to the normal aches and pains of the aged. In particular my back is often fucked in the mornings.

Damn fine time for 4 miles! What the fuck is you 5K PR..16 minutes?
Ever hear of the "Hash House Harriers"? A drinking club with a running problem. Meets in a bar , bang down a beer, run three miles to the next bar on the pre-planned route, bangabeer, etc, etc. No weight gain!

Unofficially did 19 and some change once. Funny thing is it was in a "pub run" but instead of drinking I just ran. Would love to do a Harrier thing but I would most likely crap my pants.

+1

As we're younger we eat unhealthy food and think we're invincible.

As we get older, we think what the hell are we doing to our bodies.

I try to eat healthy, do a liver and colon flush once or twice a year, exercise and take different supplements. I look like I'm 32 even though I'm much older.

Course one can never truly give up the beer...

and on another note ARGONIAN where the hell are you? If you don't make an appearance shortly I will attempt moderation of the board and kick you out.

The surgery to fix my broken shoulder has led me to develop the new "stoned beagle" parkour style.

I'm getting better. It only takes 4 aspirins to recover from a 6' fence vault now. A month ago it took 2 oxycodone pills.

Unrelated to the shoulder issue, I'll say the 8-roper is a thing of the past for sure.

I had a back surgery about 8 years ago to remove a disc. That took a while to recover from and on cold days it sucks trying to move. Unfortunately, my brain does not listen to my body and thinks it is still in its 20's. I decided this morning, it would be a good thing to go play basketball with a group of 20-25 year olds. I can barely move right now. I was fine as long as we didn't stop moving, but now, a few hours later............FUCK

It's cause for concern when people start calling 911 when you say, "watch this."
