Well, it seemed a bit presumptuous to have a birthday thread devoted to myself*, so I hereby declare this an open forum for self-congratulation regarding getting older. Woohoo, another year, still not dead!

But yes, thirty-five today! My children chose my present for the first time ever: solar-powered rainbow-coloured garden lights!

I'm not sure which cake I want:
