So just a heads up, I've been coughing up a storm and I'm pretty sure it's from something I inhaled during our last UE. Not sure if it's from the plant or the drains though, so if anyone else starts coughing let me know.

Hey guys I just found out that we can use these filters on our masks to escape from H2S.

These fit on the black north silicone masks. The part number is 7583P100, and they are NIOSH. I believe some of us have a few of these in our possession and they would be great for venturing forth into the right fork of the Groat Drain. The smell in there won't be an issue at that point.

I am still working on the compression of my pics, so sit tight people.

So, if anyone wants to join me when the weather turns around, I will be heading there.

These masks are not suitable for H2S (they may say H2S escape) which means they'll last for like ten minutes tops. see my post in the Southeast Edmonton Drain thread

Thats what I thought. But we shouldn't be dealing with anything over 8 ppm anyways, so its likely we won't succumb. You never know though!

but im thinking about an electronic H2s filtration system
Ive used one at the scrap yard and it would only be the size of one of those 5 minute tanks
but best to gt extra batteries just in case we got to far up the tunnel
