tis' but a babby crane

but im actually feeling personally challenged that I need to climb a crane that is taller for UER superiority vs Instagram urbex.

LOL!!

I'd cheer you on! I must be in the urbax club because that post bugged me and watching all my photography friends praising him. His profile phrase is "the dope sells itself" SMH

This is the hot pic on edmonton IG feeds the last couple of days. The guy has his name and location included. Talking about heading downtown next. Makes me crazy, especially because all the idiots are cheering him on.

Edit: It is also posted on another feed called edmontonliving and they had to shut the comments off because so many were negative.

Looks like the original comes from @christopherhonch and he just had it reposted by one of those unoriginal accounts that exists for no reason I can discern.

Looks like his specialty is just photographing girls he wants to bang, not exploring.

Looking at all the cranes I saw last summer in Edmonton, they can't be that hard to climb.

I don't expect him to do any large ones, current large sites have loads of cameras and active guards on site.

My brother is working as a crane helper (can't remember the actual name of the job) downtown on one of those big sites and he said they are secured up the wazoo and regularly patrol social media. He also said if he posted a pic, even of the sky, he'd lose his job. Said they take it pretty seriously.

Number of paranormal investigators worldwide who have been able to find evidence of what happens after you die: 0

Number of Alberta LDB locations: 92

By my count that's 0-92.

So why are we still listening to those idiots? Just because they have more TV shows than us?

Also, it is hard to find a website these days that is more old-fashioned than UER, but that site comes through.

I'd fucking troll it but I highly doubt a shaw.ca email address is going to still be active.

that's your opinion and if you don't believe in ghosts that's fine but refrain from belittling other peoples opinions and beliefs

Woah, you don’t cross Steed. Steed will end you.

Also, if you feel like motormouthing but can’t do it in one post, you can actually “modify post” for up to 24hrs.

Post something at night but remember something else you wanted to say the next morning? Just modify the post and add it instead of multi-posting.

Le sigh. Okay, welcome to UER zero_johnston. We love explorers, especially Albertan ones, but we don’t tolerate butterflies.

People are gonna give you sh*t here. People are gonna express their opinion and let you know when you’re acting a fool. It’s part of how UER keeps it real considering there’s so much crap like all the insta-posts and users that think they’re explorers but are mostly fanboys or taggers or drunks.

So either you can take a little honesty (and a few jokes) and you’re gonna fit right in here, or you need everyone on the internet to be gentle and maybe this isn’t the place for you. I’ve had my share of hard responses and stuff, but the Alberta crew is creative, hearty, devoted, and best of all, hilarious. I’m stoked on every single one of them.

Really, we want you here, just don’t take Steed too seriously; that was your first mistake, lol. Laugh, shrug it off, and switch back to the Google Maps tab you’ve been using to location scout.

Cheers,

// Sparro

well I guess he never had a near death experience so he wouldn't know and I'm not scared of a single person especially when they single out the beliefs of a depressed 16 year old

Please do not make yourself a victim by using depression as an excuse. If you want to play with the big boys here, you have to have a thick skin. Depression, 16 or 56. Shake it off and start again. You'll be fine.

Nicely done. I mean that. We all have our issues. People here will keep you in check but if you're serious about exploring, there's not a better group of guys.

Okay now you’re calm here’s one more.

It’s 10:45am on a Wednesday, shouldn’t you be studying Globalization or something?

PS: Lola what did I say about “modify post” hahaha

PPS: JK love you

PPPS: No but really. Modify post. Use it.

PPPPS: But if you don’t that’s ok

I figured as much.

I think the peeps in YEG have an eye on the camsell - dunno. Germ? Techno?

It’s kind of hard for me to keep an ear on those ones, just like if I asked Lola about the Heritage YMCA or MagCan.
