Hey all, after a long absence from the forum, in which I hadn't done much to make my presence known, I'm back and I'm still interested in exploring what Edmonton has to offer. Not sure if people are planning any infiltrations this spring and summer, but if so, I'm down.

On another note, I'm wondering if anybody has any in-depth info about Edmonton's drainage system. I remember long ago reading or hearing in a video that Edmonton is a great location for UE due largely to an awesome drainage system, with people coming from overseas sometimes just to explore. Any truth to this?

There's a couple of good drains in Edmo. I'm more into heights so I've barely touched the drain side of things.

After the melt I would be in for some draining for sure! Anyone interested in the near future should send me a PM. I've been solo exploring edmonton drains but would like to see what info this community has!

Hey everyone. I'm new to the city and the urbex scene. I used to do it when I was in high school but that was just me and a few buddies.

Hope to get to know all of you.

Sorry for this threadjacking, but I just noticed that the original poster, Warcrimes, is marked a deceased. What happened?

Here's the thread. Basically he went with a group of people to an abandoned factory, and the next day, probably unrelated, he died. He was a great guy and in his brief time here he really mobilised the Edmonton explorers.

Hey guys, I think I may have found a drain that's unexplored since there's no graffiti, signs of entry etc. Super close to southgate/south campus too. It's locked but I have a way in. Gets a little small in some parts but after the first bit it's 1650mm diameter and gets bigger from there. Would anyone be interested in checking it out with me sometime this week? It's also super dry right now so tonight would be best.

Sorry about not replying to your offer I don't tend to like draining. But did you find someone or did you in yourself?

I ended up going in with a friend, and got some nice pictures, although it definitely wasn't the most comfortable drain! I'll post them somewhere around here when I get a change to organize everything.

Checked out that drain about a month back, apparently it links up the famed 5100,thinking about seeing if that's true. But that drain is tiny.

If anyone's looking to go see some drains soon, there is a few spots i wanna check with my crew before the snow comes. So hit me up if you're looking to go draining. For sure trying to check the 5100 before the snow.

Also were gonna be checking out some buildings in the near future. Hit me up, we've never been into any buildings yet so any tips are welcome.
