Hi guys,

I live in Edmonton and I'm new to the UE community but I'd love to get into it. I don't have much experience (apart from the abandoned hospital a few years back) but I really want to get into it so if anyone has any pointers or ever wants to meet up, I'd be more than down.

And if you're worried about me being somewhat of a rookie, I can assure you that I'm a quick learner and I'm genuinely interested in urban exploration and infiltration.

I think its about time to introduce myself here as well. Im from Sherwood Park, and not a complete rookie, but never done anything too large scale. Most of my past experience is old farm houses and small abandoned businesses, warehouses etc. I finally have my own vehicle, so spend all my spare time looking for new places. Just starting to get into photography, well atleast as much as I can with my shitty camera. Im really hoping to check out some of the city's drains this summer. If anybody wants to do something shoot me a message and id be willing to go anywhere

Howdy folks! I recently relocated to Edmonton and am eager to see some of this city's sights. If anyone's planning any weekend excursions of any kind, I'm down for anything. Especially a good old fashioned infiltration.

Nothing too exciting at all, but finally got around to checking out the top of the high level bridge, what a view from up there! The power plant looks quite interesting as well

If either of you two want to see what's around. Let me know and I'll take you guys around the river valley one of these days. Also suggest joining the fb group as its easier to plan things there then on a public thread. And Safer

New to posting here but have been lurking for ages...

I have done the Camsel, Eden Lake, Greisbach, the golf course, etc. I am an amateur photographer that specializes in horror shoots so I LOVE the creepy abandoned locations.

I would love to meet some like minded photographers and local UE people.

What is the name of the Facebook group?

This is Lake Eden Chalet - which has apparently been demolished. We were able to get a couple of good photo shoots in.

My photos of Eden are pretty exhaustive. It was a building I adored! I am surprised there wasn't a gallery here (at least not visible to me)

I will dig up pics of the golf course before it was torched and I have some good pics of Griesbach as well.

Ah very nice, are your pictures of Griesbach older? Everything has been slowly leveled at steady pace since it was abandoned. Everything's gone now. Heres my photostream on flicker feel free to look through it and recognize anything.

Hello Everyone,

I don't post much here, mostly lurk but I do love looking at the pictures and can do so for hours on end.

I am in Edmonton and I have to agree, there's not much here to really see, as we like to demo buildings as soon as they have outrun their usefulness it seems.

But this evening I am here for your help, I am not sure of the exact address but there is a house somewhere between Campsite road and hwy 16 towards Spruce Grove that I would love to get a picture of and some history on the place. I don't know why I didn't snap a picture with my cell phone *stupid me* It's a red brick house with kind of a doll house trim on it that was at one time green. It's right at an intersection on a paved and a dirt road on the corner of someone's land. I was told last night that there's a story behind the place that the guy killed and chopped up his family or something like that.

Because of the history of the place and what may be lurking around the owners are unable to sell the place.

Anything you can offer would be appreciated, thanks!

I explored a house in that area, the barn was demolished only the house remained. It was a three story house is this the same house you refer to? I never had my camera on me when I explored it.
