You don't remember the vehicle with the odd license plate that we figured was a company car, and yelling that when the dude gunned his engine and everybody on the street cheered?

i mean i found alot of abandoned houses along the trans Canada high way
heading through Saskatchewan and a really cool abandoned museum in Ontario
although since i don't have a bloody camera anymore...thanks to the ets bus systems
i couldn't get any pics on my trip
but speaking of interesting places in Edmonton
i heard you guys had a meeting to the a power plants of sorts
we should hold another one to go back
if it wasn't the power plant it would be the place where someone found the flash bang grenade

I've scouting the city and surrounding areas just on the fact I'm addicted to kijiji and its deals people post on it. I'm going around being a merchant and getting a second income. I just found two places today(nisku) but not worthy enough to spark a meet, I put them in the database if anybody's curious.

cool cool
one of these days when everyone has enough bones
we should plan a EUR trip over to the town nor-deg
i got the coordinates to it
as well ive come across a map of the mining system that my grandfather has that
the the town was built on top of.
only problem is that we'd have to dig up the entrance since they blew it shut
and test it with my gas sniffer
it was the town kasper A.K.A warcrimes wanted to explore sometime this summer
i think we should totally hit it up
and speaking of gas sniffer
ive looked every where ....walmart, electrician stores
for a 1/2 AA 3.6 volt lithium battery for mine
and i cant find it anywhere
maybe someone can lend a hand
i mean with it working and weather permitted we can finally go to the downtown tunnel at the groat forks

You mean a CR123a battery? If so I have one you could use. If it is 1/2AA I can't help ya there. Those are not so common. maybe an industrial place will have them. Otherwise, I can jury rig a battery set up that will work if we can't get the proper cell. PM me with the name and model and whatever other info this sensor has, I will come up with a solution.

Supply Sergeant at West Ed has CR123's (along with a couple other funky battery types IIRC)

Hey which way does the mill woods drain go does it go west to the 5100? Because when me and sapper went down there last night it forked off to the north east and the south east. The south east seemed to flow directly to the mill woods park.

one direction of the mill woods goes north-northwest , and the other goes south-southeast

Far as I know it doesn't connect with 5100. There was talk of joining the double barrel with 5100 to alleviate flooding problems but they didn't exercise that option.

I was also wondering how far we went. We continued down the left drain going north east (I think) and we went past a manhole/upfall and few more manholes. We turned back because we were getting tired in the mud and I had the wrong boot size for my waders (my toe nails were cutting into each others toes).

Here is a screen shot from my map around 28 ave and 66 st, I'm guessing this is where you're talking about. The Mill Woods drain, eventually flows into the 5100.

Actually Cap I'm not sure that it does now, but definitely, before 2005, it did not, as the double barrel ran up 91st and then ran parallel to 5100, but did not join. It. I'm not 100% certain what they did, I'll do more research but I think instead of joining they just made it drain better into a ditch along 91st street.

The map that I have clearly shows the flow indicators as converging at 91 street from the south, east and north, then flowing west towards the 5100. There is nothing of significant size that would go north on 91 street then run parallel to the 5100. All the big stuff from there goes north east. The map that I have was produced in 07/08.

yeah I know tired is understatement. When the sound of falling water starts to sound like voices is when you've reached your limit. I can deal with the voices inside my head but when there coming down the tunnel behind you that worries me lol.

are you talking about the drain thats in the mill woods park..?
and if you are did you get to the point where kasper left his tag..?
and where you get to the double barrel
where its not a round pipe but more like a half moon shape..?
because if you did you would of come to a man hole cover that came up in the field of where i used to live

No where we went is in the 5100 going towards mill woods park but it branched north east and south east at 91 st I believe. You can see where the 5100 goes on google maps theres no buildings built on top of it.
