I had one, Mr. Myxlplyx, but my wife let him out of my apartment and he saw it as me selecting her over him and never returned.

Our 18 year old three-legged, toothless cat went to The Great Sandbox in the Sky on Sunday afternoon. We miss him dearly.

Aww.

It's funny, I remember having various pet cats as a kid. I remember playing with them, seeing them limp home after fights with other cats, and generally having a good time. I don't really remember much about their deaths, though. Strange.
