This would probably be fodder for a different sub-forum, but I'm not sure that one particular group holds the copyright on the word holocaust.

That fucking comment always drives me nuts, because it's one of those little nuggets of "wisdom" that racists feel comfortable enough about to post in public. That those dirty Jews stole the word holocaust. Yeah, there's no possible way that it just naturally came into the popular lexicon by being used over and over and over because of the Holocaust being a gigantic point of history. Oh my God, I hate those fuckers.

I post it because I totally agree, but just don't have the energy to reword it any post my own comment.

That particular holocaust was rather brutal though. Many forget that it wasn't just the Jewish people that got fucked in the ass. The ukrainians, the dutch, the polish, the list goes on.

Those fucking Americans better stop talking about THE Civil War, too. It's not like they're the only ones that ever had a civil war. It wasn't even the worst civil war. Why should they get to call theirs THE Civil War?
