I tried several time to upload an avatar and I literally try to upload a jpeg thats 50x50 pixels at the lowest possible setting and it still says that file is too large...having a really hard time getting anything legible uploaded

Oh my... all you got to do is surf google, find something you like and download the preview pic.
Most times it's perfect once you get the eye for it...

A good avatar is a newbie must have be

Hello! I tried to search for this question, but because the query used such generic terms, there were a lot of results; all to say, apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.

Is there any option to receive either notifications or a digest of updates via email when threads being followed get new replies/you get a new mention or quote/etc.?

Thanks!

Ahahaha, right? When you stumble into the User Boards and think “man, this place must have been bustling at one point…”

Kinda sad how forums have fallen out of scene a bit. I remember being a part of an online art forum back in highschool and loved the sense of community, sadly they stopped paying for the site and the domain got sold onto someone else.

Glad that theres still some that exist today. Something nostalgic about it, kinda like receiving something in the mail that isnt bills or stuff bought online
