Posted by WEKurtz Growing up: I watched the Brooklyn Dodgers play at Ebbets Field I rode the "Parachute Jump" in Coney Island I sat in the White Only section on a Greyhound Bus in the south. I had Barbara Streisand in my high school history class. I handed out "Vote for JFK" buttons. I never knew China was so close to Vietnam until I got back. Every toy from my kidhood is now worth big $$ (don't have any). not easy to say this.....................................1946 (Do I win the "oldest" prize?) |
