I'm serious, this is a bad bug. If you ever come across it let me know cause you've only got one or two tries before this thing f--ks your system. I am in hour 3 now of trying to fix this critter. IT BLOWS!!

Been there, done that.

There's a cleaner out there that you can find a free key for to get rid of it if you look hard enough. I haven't found anything else that works other than brute force removal...which is rebooting into safe mode and just simply deleting the thing before it loads.

Thanks for the advice, I found that major geeks has a whole section on it. I finally got it removed( I think) after running their recommended procedure three times.

Sorry I didn't find your thread until so late after your post...or else there might have been something I could do. major geeks is the one that had the remover posted with the key. Their procedure should work though. I ended up doing it the hard way after disabling the exe file that kept replicating the damn dll.

Hopefully you got it all though.

Or just use "boot time scan" with another good anti-virus software, like Avast
