Plans
< on 2/21/2009 5:32 PM >

On Friday night, my crew of cool kids plans to hit up The City Museum. They stay open until 1am on the weekends.

It's an awesome place!

Also, there are plans to hit the zoo (which is free) either early Friday or on Sunday.

Me and kris (TheAppleSnail) are going to fly in early Saturday morning...
I think we land like 8:30 or 9am (I will have to check).

I am working the over night shift, the night before so I will probably be really tired when we land, but we will see how I am doing...

Then our flight leaves like 5:30pm or something sunday.

Anyway please keep me (us) posted on the plans...

On my agenda:
-the underground portions of the light rail
-a big night time rope swing under the Eads bridge
-as many rooftops as I cant climb onto
-climbing other bridges
-checking out a huge outfall on the west side of the river

-watching freight trains, maybe a few short rides/exploring yards
-possibly a certain power plant

I'll be there likely saturday-tuesday

Hadn't seen that one, looks awesome on live maps. I'll have to check that one out too.

The one I was talking about was of the more active variety.

The official start is Saturday, is anyone going to be around for some exploring Friday?

We're going to explore the zoo and the City Museum on Friday.

Are you flying in to St Louis or Nashville?

I'm actually thinking about going Greyhound, takes a little longer but saves me over $100.

I don't care if its a 24 hour ride, I intend to be in some manner of abandonment aproximately 30 minutes after getting in.

I'm planning on leaving Sacramento International in the wee morning hours on the 17th, and arriving roughly eight hours after departure. If I feel up to it after arrival [I'm very leery about flying], I'd be open to exploration that night.

Someone post some shots, and I'll 'shop myself into them, and claim I was there!

I just planned to print your guitar picture out and pose it in different abandonments and photograph it.
