The fact that I am old enough to be the mother and sometimes the grandmother of some of the people, if not all of the people that I explore with.

Kids I used to babysit for are grandparents. I started babysitting young and they started to breed young but still!!!!

i don't want to get old. i am afraid that i just don't do it well.
i've noticed that out of my friends, i am the only one left without a wife, kids, or a live-in girlfriend... i cannot stomach that life. I mean, I am 35 and my life, statistically, is half over. What have I done with it? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Will anyone remember me when I'm gone? Probably not.

You aren't going anywhere for a while and I'm sure there's others that'll remember you besides me.

Seriously though...

You aren't old...you just feel that way sometimes. Believe me, I felt that way today when I was trying to push cutter logs a couple feet to line 'em up to move with a truck and kids half my friggin age are doing it with ease while I'm fighting damaged knees and ankles.
