My girls and one of the Easter pics we took this year. Sterling (brunette) is 11 and Raven (blonde) is 9.

Watched my 5-year old face plant off a curb last night and didn't really move all that quickly to prevent it. Instead, my 9-year old and I LOLd. Is that wrong?

Extremely proud of my 9-year old. He had a reading test and scored high enough that he could move on to some fun group work while other kids had to keep taking practice tests. I think that I have added to his literacy acquisition in two real ways: 1) I read to him every night since he was about 3; he learned that books are cool and fun; and 2) when he first began reading I got him the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book--this is a great series for relatively new readers, it has pictures so it's still "fun," but it is kind of long so the reader feels a sense of accomplishment when it is finished. It is great to see this pay off. I feel kind of conflicted on him being separated from others in his class because he did well, but he has the resources to be a good student so I will have to deal w/my guilt in my own way.

This is my daughter Sadie - She's three and a little spitfire

This is my son Sawyer who passed away on June 3rd, 2010

We're expecting again - another boy - in about 6 weeks.

Tux Paint is still sorta hit and miss.

The boo-boo on the forehead was from "kiddie parkour" on the back steps. He did great until he got on the ground and then tripped.

Well, I just found this thread and thought I'd contribute a couple of pictures of my littles.

This is Finn, he's a little over two. (We're big on music in this house)

This is Jude, he will be one this month

I can't wait until they're old enough to adventure with their mama!
