| Buildering is, essentially, the art of climbing man-made structures not meant for climbing. Climbing buildings, bridges, and any other structures available falls into this hobby. Climbing is generally done without proper gear, though good shoes help a lot and a bouldering mat can make falls less dangerous. Buildering lends itself well to urban exploration as the skill of climbing "free" can aid an explorer in attempts to enter some sites. Parkour is a related hobby. |
