RIP Bob Diamond
< on 8/28/2021 10:19 PM >

Bob was more of a train buff than an explorer, but the NYC area people should know the name.

He's the guy that made the POE to the Atlantic Ave Tunnel in 1980 after it sat sealed off for almost 120 years.

It basically took climbing down a manhole in a busy street and then smashing through a wall to gain access.

His website whuch explains the whole thing is still up for now.

UER threads related to the tunnel.
