Your day could have been >worse<

Oh god, I remember reading this a couple years ago. This story is definitely as bad as it can get. I’ve never forgotten that story and never will.

Yesterday has got to be the worst day I've ever had exploring. Got dogs unleashed on me

This whole thing sounds awful, but at least no charges or dog bites! I remember a few friends and I were exploring an abandoned railroad once and entered a junkyard that had been built on the old tracks. I and a friend we'll call "Gary" went farther than the rest of the crew, who were accosted by the owner. He actually didn't care that we were exploring, but he told them he had "absolutely no control" over his unleashed guard dog.

"Gary" and I quickly discovered this. I'd never been scared of a dog before but that dog meant business and we only had enough time to run away with our skin intact thanks to "Gary" swinging his huge metal water bottle around to keep the beast at bay as we ran past the laughing owner.

Just before the dog charged at us I took a picture, attached below. I still like dogs better than cats and have mad respect for that dog... and "Gary".

Anyways, your experience sounds awful but also like a great story for future retelling, with excellent photos to boot!
