I used to live across the street from it, if you want to get a true feel for the past the museum is actually pretty cool.

Otherwise most of it has been redeveloped for many years and it's pretty much a residential area with a grocery store and fitness place. It's been a while since I've been there but there have been some buildings stuck in development hell since I've been alive. I can't say for sure, but I think part of the challenge with redevelopment is probably asbestos related, but they have historical significance too so probably there's that too. If they're still there, it's like high risk for a 10-20 minute exploration of maybe one building that's mostly being used for storage.
