The Tremaine Tour
< on 5/28/2021 4:22 AM >

This is a compilation collection of 30 photos that were all taken on a single day of exploring abandonments along one road between Burlington and Milton. My apologies for maybe too big of a gallery, but that was part of the point. Tremaine Road makes for a great day of exploring, all contained in a relatively small geographical area. I saw location after location on satellite and knew that a dedicated trip to the area was worth it. But I also saw that most of these old farmhouses had gated driveways and the potential to be well-watched by neighbours. And I HATE exploring when I can't relax and take time due to worries about parking. So.... I biked it. 9 km one way, and 9 km back, with an out-of-shape COVID rear end screaming in discomfort at the piece of crap Supercycle stock bike seat that it was planted on. Dammit, there better be something here that you like! Obviously, these aren't in order. I'm jumping back and forth to different times of the day, having had the fortune of diversely changing light and cloud conditions from 5:00 am to about 3:00 pm.

Very nice!

From a photography standpoint, 3,9 and 25 are my favs. But I get really warm and fuzzy for any fieldstone houses.

Thanks again for your efforts.

All your photos are very nice! Urbex or non-Urbex photos, they look well shot and great.

Very nice! I really like the stone house. Nothing like a bicycle for stealth.

Wow, beautiful photography! I love the attention paid to details of certain objects/elements. And the way you framed some photos to contrast the decay with flourishing nature.

The carpet sweeper in #12 certainly has its work cut out for it.

Wow - what a successful day! I myself, find it to be worth the screams of discomfort from your COVID rear end. Thank you for suffering!

Some really good spots! Well done man. The parking issue is always a big worry for myself as well. Maybe I need a bike...
