In fact I'd be willing to bet there's a big ol' telephone exchange somewhere in the building, possibly by the front desk, or in the office behind. Nobody is strong enough to lift one of those and nick it. Thanks for this incredible look. |

Seriously, I find this infinitely fascinating as it really does capture an era. I can imagine that this place saw it's last customers in the 80s, surmising that they wouldn't have had the funds to redecorate in the waning years of the hotel's existence.
