Dam Exploration From April 2020
< on 5/17/2021 6:37 PM >

Good morning,

I realize I forgot to post anything about the explorations I did during the peak of quarantine in 2020.

When people were losing their jobs left and right, and I had lost 2/3 of my hours and myself landed on unemployment, I decided to take my gopro and my cell phone and take advantage of the semi abandoned world left in the wake of the pandemic.

I'll post a couple pictures I have, I have a lot more, but they're from my old phone and stored on an SD card somewhere, I'll add them if I can find them, but here's some photos, and a link to the very poorly edited video I made.
(Can someone help me with embedding pics from flickr?) I figured it out!

These next two pictures are from about a month ago, I didn't have any good pics available at the moment from the ground level. ↓

Wanted to see them all, but my monitor isn't 27ft wide so you might wanna scale some of these down a smidge.... None the less, the effort is appreciated. The spillway in the first pic looks cool - A young dumb me soooooo would have slid/skated/rode that....

Yeah I'm pretty new to using flickr lol, so I'll try to adjust those last two.

With a light running start you can go up that slope, I may try to skate down it, though I usually walk or ride my bike here, since there's not much pavement around beforehand. It's starting to sound appealing.

Thank you! I hope to get more pictures and possibly videos too, just as long as I don't blow up or reveal any juicy spots!

And yeah, freakin flickr... I guess it's been a longggg time since I've messed with embedding, a different age of internet perhaps? Maybe my brain is broken lol
