Posted by fr00tCake Good times Abby - must have been fun. It's basically free money, at least after the detecting gear is paid for! Glad the back is "good news" I have 2 fusions in mine (degenerative disk disease). L2-3 was a beast - 10 days in the hospital, a full year wearing a stupid corsete, but was a miracle. 20 years later, it is still pain free. C5-6 was only 24hrs in the hospital, and had very little recovery. While also pain free (6yrs later), I get an irritating tickle in my throat on occasion that will make me cough like I inhaled a cracker crumb. None the less, worth it! |
Posted by Abby Normal Even with a walker I could barely move the 10 feet from my bed to the bathroom. I'm sure you know exactly what that is like. |
