So for the New Year weekend a few of us got together for a bit of exploring and gold prospecting. The mine we are in intersects a second mine, and rumor says that it intersects a third mine which had its entrance dozed over by BLM. We haven't done a complete explore, but we are learning this mine little by little.
The following weekend I ruptured a disc in my back which pinched my sciatic nerve rendered me unable to walk, sit, or stand. After arguing with my insurance they finally authorized surgery. I'm healing now with a positive prognosis. Unfortunately my right leg still has a lot of numbness and weakness from the pinched nerve. I'm now walking a couple of miles a day for physical therapy.
