Abandoned Endicott Forts in Galveston
< on 3/4/2021 1:01 AM >

Hello everyone! Been a while since I've posted, but in that time I've checked out a lot of locations that I'll be posting about shortly!

Among these were a couple of cool Endicott-era forts in and around Galveston!

Below I've attached some of my favorite images from these locations.

I've also just started my very own UrbanX blog! Here you can check out my post for more photos, diagrams, and history of these forts!

The concrete bunker looking structures give off WW2 vibes. I dig the graffiti as well, always interesting seeing what people manage to throw together. I had the opportunity of visiting galveston for the first time a few months ago, I hope I go back. I want to really explore some of the derelict rigs and vessels surrounding the port areas.

I'm going to drop by the forts in a few weeks. What should I know about getting in? Is it easier to drive to the scenic park and then walk up on the beach? CAN I walk up on the beach, or is it fenced? Am I going to get caught?
If this was better suited to a DM, feel free to reprimand me. I am new here, but not a narc.
