"Clean Hands Protect Health"
< on 3/3/2021 2:55 AM >

Finally after weeks of not going out 'splorin I got to see this beauty! I hope you guys enjoy it!

The first thing upon accessing this place that catches your eye is this...obviously it was staged by previous explorers but man it makes you imagine what was going on here back in the day.

Immediately to your left, you see these 2 awesome-looking salon chairs that I remember seeing when I was a kid and having to tag along to the salon with my Mom. These chairs would later prove to be amazingly comfortable once a break was needed.

Man, this thing was really dope looking, it's an old calculator and I can tell I'd have one hell of a time trying to use one of those back in the day.

This was another neat-looking chair from the barbershop it was in rough shape but honestly looked so awesome to see a classic like this in person.

Here we have this beautiful antique electrical panel with copper knife throw switches and copper busbar. You won't see these anymore as older buildings that are still active would of course have to upgrade at some point to satisfy fire codes/electrical codes.

If you've seen some of my past posts y'all already know how much of a sucker I am for chipping paint. So, I present to you...

On our way to the second floor, I remember going into the stairwell and looking up and just going "Wow!" this looked amazing. Again the chipping paint and the way the stairwell was lit up was just perfect.

Here's another view of the previous shot.

Standing in the middle of this hallway makes you just think how much history happened right here.

Just a bed in the hallway with a view.

This mattress was made by Good Year. Yeah, that's right the same one that makes tires.

This is a child's bed or crib, unsure, but it was an interesting thing to see.

Just an assortment of medicine bottles and who knows what, that was sitting on this table which had some awesome looking cracked paint on top.

I can just imagine a patient sitting here trying to enjoy some sunlight and warmth while trying to get better from this horrible disease.

"I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh God, it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you
that forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head."

This shot here is one of my favorites. It felt like I was in the middle of a post-apocalyptic movie.

This awesome-looking wheelchair dating over 100+ years old was just sitting in the hallway with no damage. I couldn't just pass by without getting a shot of it.

Into the tunnels we go...

Fire Alarm Pull Station No. 233

"There's power on over there!"...So we got over there!

In this area, you'd have to actually be there in order to understand how much of a movie set feeling you get.

After going through a rusty gate and around a bend you come to this open hallway that goes around the building and eventually comes to an end.

And just like that, we have come to the end of our trip and this place leaves us all a message from the past..."Clean Hands Protect Health"

Thanks again everyone for checking out my recent explore!

I cant tell you how much i enjoyed your shots. Love these old hospitals and it thrills me to get to see them , even if its through someone else's lens. The B&W with the Good Year mattress is totally Awesome... and for color, the ward with the cool doors

I tripped my balls when I explored this place! So much decay, so much beauty, so many things left!

But as Philodiss mentioned, they keep a close eye on this place! We were lucky to get in and out unnoticed with all the patrols on site.

Very nice set of pictures, OP!
