Mass Mall Demo
< on 2/24/2021 1:23 AM >

Hello,

Unfortunately, a good spot for exploring, a mall in Southeast Mass almost directly east of Pawtucket is due to be demolished in the coming week or so. The mall had slowly been decreasing in visitors over the years, and about a month ago it closed for good.
Unfortunately, I can't make the journey up to give it a last go due to work, but if you checked it out before, it might be worth checking out, although I have no idea how far they are in the demo process.

I heard it's been going fast I wanted to check it out but I think I'm too late

If we're thinking of the same place, I believe demolition started earlier this year and is already well underway. But forgive me if I am mistaken though - there are a few different places that could fit this description. Retail is not doing so hot right now.

I'm guessing Emerald Square Mall is the one your talking about. Shopped there a few times in the 1990's...

I was referring more to Silver City. Is Emerald Square on the chopping block?

A quick search shows Emerald Square is doing just fine. Should have checked first...
