Abandoned school in rural oklahoma

Been attempting to keep sane while social distancing. I found this school in rural Oklahoma some time ago. These were shot about a month ago on Kodak 400 with a point and shoot Nikon 35. Sorry if these are low res, I had to cut the size to upload to here.

Either get lower to shoot or back up a lot. These both feel cut off at the bottom. When you're framing a shot like these where you're facing into what's essentially a box, look at where the "lines" hit the frame. (The lines are the edges where the wall meets the floor and ceiling.) The subject matter in these isn't super engaging, so if you want a good shot you'll have to work with the symmetry & vanishing point.

On a completely unrelated note to critiquing your photos, do you enjoy shooting on film? I have a sony A7ii with a bunch of vintage lenses but I've been strongly debating a Canon F1 or Olympus OM1 film body to use in addition to the digital body. I have no experience with film (well... okay, I was a kid in the 90s so I definitely have had my share of disposable cameras and maybe even a polaroid for a little while.... those don't count)

I also have the a7r11 and I love it!
I’ve come across some vintage film cameras and even bought two or three of them if the deal was too good not to. The thing is, I never use them. I also grew up in the 90’s and have used film before, so I can’t say not knowing how is an excuse. They’re basically too inconvenient for me to mess with - especially if I’m lugging around all of my normal gear already.

I guess my best advise to you would be to think hard about whether or not you’ll actually use a film camera. Getting your film developed is a lot less convenient nowadays too, so keep that in mind.
