This is probably one of my favorite spots in all of Edmonton. Very cool graffiti here. It was only cool because of the graffiti. To bad they covered a lot of it up recently.

The city has attempted to cover up the graffiti here, and painted a lot of the walls over. A lot of the good stuff is gone, but the sheer volume of it is insane. The whole 500 meter walkway used to be COVERED with graffiti. Most of the reaming good pieces have been tagged over by opposing crews i believe.

An abandoned gas station / diner out in the country. Without giving out to much information, ill explain some of the history.

The place is on a reserve and the people who reside there were given a grant of a million to build the place which would provide jobs for the people on the reserve. The gangs in the area (which was full of organize crime) managed to work there way inside, and the person running the place was working for them. The manager would order hundreds of products a week, even if they would only sell 5. As soon as the goods arrived, they were sent straight out the back to the gang which would sell it at a cheaper price in other places.

At the end of the whole thing, they racked up 7 mil in debt that was never payed back and it was shut down. This is second hand information from my father who used to frequent the place.

Some abandoned houses out of the city. Cool spot, lots of rot and decay as well as some terrifying art and tags.

Bad news, looks like squatters lit the place up last night. Likely going to be boarded up and torn down now.

Darn. I went there a while ago but didn't venture into the basement cause I was alone and heard people talking.

Been awhile since I've come across any new spots. Found this one yesterday, and abandoned windshield repair shop, with the POWER still on!! Also had a bunch of needles and stuff spread all over the floor. We didn't stay to long, as the squatter den looked decently new.

There's a second floor here, so if anyone was there, they were probably upstairs. We didn't have a chance to check it out though.

Also, I've finally got a real camera, a Sony A-6000! Hopefully my photos will start getting better.
